Starting pitcher Dan the Man aggravated an old knee injury this past weekend. Luckily he works at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. He’s resting it at home but has to keep it immobilized and wait for the swelling to go down before the medical staff can give him a better diagnoses.

Lefty, Zak, will be called upon to carry the team through the few months practices and events. if his performance in Bollingbrook last year is any indication, our players will be launching the ball deep into the outfield.

We hope Dan’s injury isn’t too serious and wish him a speedy recovery. Until then, you’ll probably see Dan “spotting” in the field and keeping coach Doug hydrated!
